This new monthly offering will orient attendees to the basics of clinical research -- from demystifying the different types of research to translating basic clinical research terminology, from describing the scientific method to delineating the differences between NIH, industry and investigator-initiated studies, from introducing the basics of study design and procedures to reviewing essential documents, federal regulations and guidelines and the basics of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and reviewing key factors involved in working with human subjects, this highly interactive training will get you started in your career in clinical research and give you the tools you need to succeed.
