“Consenting and Working with Non-English Speaking Subjects”

In this presentation, Rosalyn Gray will discuss the regulatory requirements and Partners Human Research Committee policy and guidance on obtaining and documenting informed consent of non-English speaking subjects in clinical research studies.

Anabela Nunes will describe how MGH Interpreter Services can help you work successfully with non-English speaking study subjects. Come learn how to plan for and schedule medical interpretation services, how to access emergency interpreter services and how to properly work with medical interpreters within the context of clinical research.
